Welcome to Pieriodic. These Terms are an agreement between you and 3COTECH Inc. (“Pieriodic”, “we”, “us”) about your use of the pieriodic.com website and app (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.
Pieriodic is an informational catalog of San Pedro Bay Ports Clean Air Action Plan strategies (“elements”) and green shipping corridors, based on research and on the book Chasing Zero by Kat Janowicz. It is provided for professional, research, and educational purposes. The Service is currently offered as a private preview and may change, expand, or add paid access over time.
Some features will require an account (coming soon).
Please use the Service lawfully and reasonably. You agree not to:
We work to keep the catalog accurate and current, but the information is provided “as is” for general reference. Port operations, regulations, technologies, and corridor programs change quickly. Nothing on Pieriodic is legal, regulatory, engineering, investment, or professional advice, and you should verify anything you rely on against primary sources. We link to sources where we can; those third-party sites are governed by their own terms.
The Service — including its text, data compilation, design, branding, the “Pieriodic” name and wave logo, and the underlying catalog — is owned by 3COTECH Inc. or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for its intended purpose. Facts themselves are not owned by anyone; our particular selection, arrangement, and presentation of them are. Underlying material from Chasing Zero remains the property of its author. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
If you send us a message, suggestion, or other content (for example through the contact form), you grant us permission to use it to operate and improve the Service and to respond to you. Don’t send us confidential information you don’t want us to use for those purposes.
Some features may be offered under a separate paid plan in the future. When that happens, the specific pricing, billing, and cancellation terms presented at sign-up will apply in addition to these Terms. (No paid access is offered yet.)
We aim to keep the Service available but don’t guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of it, and we may update these Terms; significant changes will be noted on the site with a new “last updated” date. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pieriodic and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of — or inability to use — the Service.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be handled in California courts, to the extent the law allows.
